this poem is about someone whom i deeply cared about. the feelings were never returned, but i learned that with or without his love, i could make it and always remain strong and happy.

words of wisdom come to my ears,

telling me what i know in my heart,

but never wanted to hear.

with the truth finally said and out in the open for me to plainly see,

i wonder why i can love so deeply but never had that love returned back to me.

i confessed the feelings that i held inside for so long,

but with his soft- hearted rejection,

i realize i have to be strong.

while this dramatic side is showing through with my ability to question and reason,

浅谈英语诗歌感受

在文学的各种体裁里，诗歌是产生最早的一种，也是语言最精炼的一种，浅谈对英语诗歌美的感受。[1]它是最富民族性的文学形式，比小说、散文产生的更早，也更直接地抒发人类的情感，有着长久的生命力。在某种意义上说，没有诗歌就没有语言，没有将我们区别于其他民族的精神。在任何国家的语言里，诗歌都被认为是思维表达的最高形式。但诗歌的定义是什么，一直以来大家争论不休，无法定论。从对诗歌的描述“诗是一种语词凝练、结构跳跃、富有节奏和韵律、高度集中地反映生活和表达思想感情的文学体裁”中，我们可以认为诗歌具有凝练性、跳跃性和音乐性的基本特征。[2]美感是人类对客观事物美的体验，是人们在审美活动中对美的事物的主观感知、欣赏和评价。只有准确地认识、鉴别生活中美的事物，才能树立正确的审美观和审美理想，培育美好的心灵和崇高的情操。美感的基本特征是形象性，感受美要通过具体的形象载体，英语诗歌是美感的载体，也是诗人美感的具体反映。我们可以从朗诵英语诗歌中获得美的享受，与诗人在心灵深处产生共鸣.

利用音韵的节奏和韵律达到各种声响效果是英语诗歌文体的一个显著特点。音韵主要产生于诗人对相同或者相近的音素的使用。通过轻重音节的有序排列，英诗传达出一种有节奏的.韵律。但是在加强语言的音韵美的同时，音韵更加增强语言的表现力，把意义与音素直接联系起来，以最鲜明的手段来表现诗人的艺术审美。英国浪漫主义诗人塞·特·克勒里奇在他的《文学传记》一书中写道：“诗是一种创作类型，它与科学作品不同，它提出的直接目标不是真实，而是。”[3]诗歌中重音和节拍的交替变换，使词语结构产生某种音乐般的，而英语诗歌中反复使用相同或相近的音素而产生的音韵，更加强了这种语言的音乐美，增添了艺术情趣。这种音韵也叫押韵，是指通过重复元音或辅音以达到一定音韵效果的诗歌写作手法。正如g·bourne指出，“诗节之内，押韵的词比其他词更为突出。因此，如果诗人能把他要表达的意义集中在押韵的词上，则意义的光辉能传播得更远。韵就像一堆一堆篝火一样在诗中交相辉映”[4]。常见的英诗音韵有：头韵、内韵(元音叠韵)、尾韵、同韵(完全押韵)等。头韵是指一行中有几个词用同样的辅音开头，也叫字首韵；[5]内韵(元音叠韵)是指相同或相似的元音在诗中重复出现，形成押韵；尾韵是用相同读音的音素结尾，形成押韵。这是最常见和最重要的押韵方式；同韵(完全押韵)是指英诗押韵，一韵到底。这种情况大多数是在同一节诗用一个韵脚.

例1：for winter’s rains and ruins are over, and all the season of snows and sins; the day dividing lover and lover, the light that loses，the night that wins． 在这首诗中，诗人反用了很重的头韵。在第一诗行， 我们反复地读到了“r”的声响，在第二行则是“s”。第 三行是“d”与“l”，第四行则是“l”与“t”，并 以win与行首的winter相照应，社会文化论文《浅谈对英语诗歌美的感受》。作者使用这么多的头韵使 诗的音响有如合唱中的和声，音响上产生了回环反复的效 果.

例2：spring,the sweet spring, spring,the sweet spring,is the year’s pleasant king; then blooms each thing,then maids dancer in a ring, cold dath not sting,the pretty birds do sing； cuckoo,jug-jug,pu-we,to-witta-woo! 在这首诗中，诗人使用了内韵，反复用“i”表现春天里万物生机勃勃、欢乐祥和的景色。[3]

它的典型特点是从不占满一页，只是写成一排一排，并且由于诗节、韵律的不同而写成不同的形式。诗节把一首诗分成几段，每行诗的长短取决于韵步的多少。诗人经过巧妙的设计，把诗行组成某种物体形状的图案，代表或象征某一具体事物，表达作者的某种思想感情。这种可见的形体，具有直觉感，像图画一样,诗歌不同的排列可以产生不同的美感.
